was craving for something what I miss...

and so i did...

Meowie's Bacolod Chicken Inasal version

I then closed my eyes and imagined myself being teleported (if there's such a term or a thing I would gladly do it!) back to where Mom, Dad and my brothers and sisters are all there just having a good time.

Gone are the days. As soon as I opened my eyes, I can't wait to dig in! LOL.

BON APPETITE!!!

Gone are the dark clouds that had me blind...

Gone are the dark clouds that had me blind...

I can see clearly now, the rain is gone,
I can see all obstacles in my way
Gone are the dark clouds that had me blind
It's gonna be a bright (bright), bright (bright)
Sun-Shiny day
It's gonna be a bright (bright), bright (bright)
Sun-Shiny day

Oh yes I can make it now, the pain is gone
All of the bad feelings have disappeared
Here is the rainbow I've been prayin' for
It's gonna be a bright (bright), bright (bright)
Sun-Shiny day

Look all around, there's nothin' but blue skies
Look straight ahead, nothin' but blue skies

I can see clearly now, the rain is gone,
I can see all obstacles in my way
Here is the rainbow I've been prayin' for
It's gonna be a bright (bright), bright (bright)
Sun-Shiny day
It's gonna be a bright (bright), bright (bright)
Sun-Shiny day
bright (bright), bright (bright)
Sun-Shiny day
It's gonna be a bright (bright), bright (bright)
Sun-Shiny day
It's gonna be a bright (bright), bright (bright)
Sun-Shiny day

My first dew drops

my first drop of dew

another attempt of dew drops

What a busy weekend!

For a sunday, waking up at 6 am is quite early. The kids are with us for the weekend and of course I have to tend to their needs. Made them breakfast, woke them up to get ready, let them eat and have them take a shower so by the time their dad wakes up, the bathroom is free for him and myself (well separately of course! LOL). After which i cleaned up the dining table and the kitchen while sprucing up another breakfast for the man of the house (Carey). When Carey woke up, his breakfast was ready for him. After that when everybody is ready, we left the house by 11:00 a.m. to catch a 12:00 movie show. It's very hard to find parking on those area and we have to be there at least 30 minutes early.

And so after the hellish movie..and I think it sucks...well it's for the kids anyways..Carey and I made sure that the old house (where Carey used to live when he was still married) is okay for us to have a bbque and pool thingy and so we called his ex-wife Eileen and she told us that the house is ready for us to use. Which is just totally perfect.

We dropped off the kids to the old house, went back to our apartment...washed up and went to the nearest Key Food (Grocery) to buy the stuff that we need for the barbeque. And here are some of a few photos I'd like to share...

And we end up going home at 9 p.m. making sure before we leave the house that the kids are situated knowing that the mother is not coming home (again) till God knows when.

That's how my weekend goes so far. How about yours?

here's to wishing for a wonderful weekend!

DSC_1975

i've been very down lately and i've been trying to cheer myself up by chatting online and i was really surprised having friends calling me up or leaving me messages if am okay because they felt like they have the urge to call me. Isn't that sweet?

I also have read a magazine today on my way to work, and it gave me a reason to think about it and gave me a nice, big smile.

It says "the upside of denial".

I would like to share this with you not because I had a lousy feeling but because I know that every person in this world experienced such situations. The writer spoke about Murphy's law day where everything that could go wrong did. Rather than letting it get you down, act like it happened to someone else. She says, according to Robin Hornstein,PhD, a clinical psychologist in Philadelpia, dwelling on bad days prolongs negative feelings. "That in turn increases anxiety and stress," she says. But if you engage in a little selective denial, you'll do yourself a big favor.

NEGATIVITY ALREADY TOOK UP 24 HOURS OF YOUR LIFE! why live through it even longer?

And I said..wow! yeah..that makes sense. I was so crunched up to a ball and feeling so down and depressed that I was not even aware that I have my man next to me doing everything to cheer me up and nothing worked for me to even just to spare him a smile. I didn't even recognize the fact that after calling my sister Mira in Australia and spoke to my niece Maeve, singing songs for me and hearing my nephew Niall saying I love you in his own words would make me feel better! But I still remained so in depth into my emotions that I just could not appreciate every little thing in this world.

So, am not alone. I definitely am not the worst person in this world to have such a greater or of a bigger deal than life itself.

Let alone have the guts to have a half day yesterday off from work because I really felt so down.

Did that ever occur to you? Of course you do! Well, I feel better now..may not be the best but much better than yesterday, after all I don't want it to be more than 24 hours of negativity, that's too much already.

And so here comes the weekend! Have a great one everyone!

Here's hoping to a happier work week!

But my life, my lover, my lady is the sea.....

There's a port on a western bay
And it serves a hundred ships a day
Lonely sailors pass the time away
And talk about their homes

And there's a girl, in this harbor town
And she works, laying whiskey down
They say "Brandy, fetch another round"
She serves them whiskey and wine

The sailors say "Brandy, you're a fine girl
What a good wife you would be
Yeah your eyes could steal a sailor
From the sea."

have a happy and productive work week everyone!
